Our Vision, Mission & Values
01. OUR VISION
Grassroots communities have improved their living conditions, ensuring their resilience to various shocks within a sustainable environment.
We dream of an Idjwi Island where every household possesses the means to meet their basic needs independently. A community where extreme poverty and malnutrition are eradicated through sustainable agricultural practices, and where future generations can thrive in a preserved and respected natural ecosystem.
02. OUR MISSION
To serve underprivileged communities to make a major contribution in the fields of food security, environmental protection, rural economy, education, community health, and good governance.
Our mission is not limited to emergency assistance; it is part of a genuine social transformation approach. As an organization of the ECC/3rd CBCA, we deploy a holistic approach addressing all aspects of rural life. We equip local populations with the knowledge, seeds, infrastructure, and financial resources necessary for them to become the authors of their own development.
